Are you a new gun owner looking for pistol training in the Ocala Marion County Florida area? Do you want to get the Florida Concealed Weapon or Firearm License, also known as Concealed Carry? Maybe you are an experienced gun owner that wants to brush up your skills, shoot at a pistol range, learn about gun safety? You found the right place at the right time!
Located in Ocala in the heart of central Florida we offer a variety of firearms training courses by NRA certified instructors who are also National Rifle Association certified Range Safety Officers. We stress safe gun handling, and can help anyone learn safe gun handling practices and improved firearm handling skills.

Florida Concealed Weapon or Firearm Course
$75 plus $10 range fee
Usually held the first and second Saturday of each month, if I have 3 or more students registered. Class starts promptly at 9am, bring your gun, ammo, eye and ear protection, or contact me if you need loaners. Saturday classes run from 9-1:30 or 2, weekday classes run from 10-2:30 or 3.
I can also do some weekday courses if I have 3 or more registered students.

If you're looking for a convenient and very informative Ocala Concealed Carry Course this is it. The aim of this course is for the student to apply for the Florida Concealed Carry License. Students who pass this course will receive an application for the Florida Concealed Weapon or Firearm License along with the photo, fingerprint card and the NRA First Steps Pistol course completion certificate required to be submitted along with the application. 1-2 hrs at the Ocala Sportsman's Association Firearms Training Facility, 2-3 hrs classroom.
Personal Firearms Course
$75 plus $10 range fee
The aim of this course is for you to learn how to competently and safely operate a pistol that is new to you, or brush up on your shooting techniques. This is a one on one pistol course taught at the range that improves your proficiency and accuracy. It is recommended to bring 100-200 rounds of ammo for your pistol.
NRA Home Firearms Safety Course
$120 in your home 1-4 persons
This is a non-firing course that can be taught in the comfort of your own home. The aim of this course is to teach the basic knowledge and skills, and to explain the attitude necessary for safe handling and storage of guns in the home. We encourage all men, women and children to become safe and proficient with their firearms, exercising your Second Amendment rights to bear arms.
Learning the safe way is the only right way to learn how to handle firearms. We have some of the best, safest, NRA trained and certified instructors you will find anywhere. All courses teach the safe handling of handguns in a friendly, no pressure environment. You can relax and enjoy your time with us, ask questions, discuss what you know and what we know, and we will all benefit. We get students from all over Central Florida. Ocala is very conveniently located in the center of the state, so our gun range and classroom are convenient for everybody.
